Mysa’s Family Volunteer Fair!

Aug 17 Mysa’s Family Volunteer Fair!

MYSA SCHOOL BRINGS FAMILIES TOGETHER THROUGH VOLUNTEER FAIR

Come with your family and learn about the various organizations throughout the community and ways you can spend time with your kids while volunteering for a great cause. There will be over 10 organizations waiting to talk to families about fun ways to volunteer and contribute as well as snacks and drinks for guests.

“Volunteering is a great way to spend time with your family while giving back to the community. While these organizations depend on their volunteers on the ground, it also offers children a chance to see how communities can come together and how volunteering can also be fun,” says Siri Fiske, Head of Mysa School. “We are excited to host these organizations in our school and meet the families of Bethesda.”

Opportunities for volunteering include

  • The Chesapeake Bay Foundation
  • Habitat for Humanity
  • A Wider Circle

And many more…

“We want to see more families participating together and meet more of the community members of Bethesda,” says Ariel Martinez Brumbaugh, Assistant Head of Mysa School. “These organizations are committed to the community of Bethesda and we can’t wait to bring everyone together in one place in September.”
