Sep 12 Mysa @ StewardMRV

Mysa students are always active within the community, and community service initiatives are primarily led by the students. In our new Vermont location on Bridge Street, students are collaborating with StewardMRV which was started by the Mad River Valley Chamber of Commerce to instill a greater sense of stewardship for outdoor recreational assets in the Mad River Valley community. Mysa students have been performing weekly clean ups of the Bridge Street area, Library Pocket Park and the Bridge Street swimming hole. The students’ efforts haven’t gone unnoticed. This past fall local news myNBC5 came out to Waitsfield to interview StewardMRV participants and Mysa teacher, Kathy Haskell about the program and her students.
